Jordan graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising in 2008. She moved to Atlanta for a short time and realized the city life wasn’t for her. She moved back to Cordele and decided to pursue her masters.  In 2012, she received her MBA from Georgia Southwestern State University. In the spring of 2013, she started at Leger. Coming from a retail/ sales background, she knew nothing about watermelons, much less agriculture, but became fascinated with the business and quickly realized that she had found a career. She believes the watermelon business is like a roller coaster, but it can be the greatest thrill ride you could ever imagine.
